Welcome to the sightings page where you will be able to see what witnesses to UFO sightings have seen over the years. The Florida UFO Network has received many reports over the years, but unfortunately, most were from the hotline and follow-ups were not possible due to the reluctance of the witness to reveal more info or location of the UFO sighting. However, there are some reports that had been sent via snail mail that will appear here on the sightings page. This page will be updated frequently as reports are received. The Florida UFO Network thanks all who have sent in their reports. Those who wish to make a report by the USPS may request the info.
triangle ufo - gadsden county 1990's
This report was received in mid-October 2013 in reference to the UFO image presented above.What follows is her account of the sighting in the 1990's she had with her sister;
"I stumbled across this web site tonight only after standing in the yard tonight for about an hour, blinded by what seemed to be a UFO...I came inside dazed about what I had just seen, so I Googled about the moon...and then a UFO for Gadsden County. I can't tell you how SHOCKED I was when I opened your page and saw a UFO in a Triangle!!!!!! This is what my sister and I saw around 5:30 to 6:00 a.m. one morning in the 90's...I will have to check the year with my sister. I was taking her to the bus stop. We were on our 65 acres in the dark. We drove across the dam across the pond and when we started up the hill on the other side...WHAM!!! This GIGANTIC Triangle. Just like what you have a picture of!!!!!!!! It had HUGE BRIGHT LIGHTS on corners. It was so bright we couldn't see!!!! I couldn't say anything. My sister screamed my name!!! She asked me "What is it!!????? All I could say was "I don't know". It seemed like it hovered over us and the field forever and then it was gone. We couldn't say anything, we didn't know what to say. We have since talked about it and laughed about it. We were afraid to tell anyone, we didn't think they would believe us...If I hadn't experienced it, I wouldn't have believed it. We also had a lot of paranormal on the property for several years.... No one wanted to stay with me. I had to beg family to say with me. I wouldn't stay there by myself... Lots of stories there... I eventually had our minister come out and pray over everything. It's been gone since then. I can't
tell you how I'm relieved some what to find the page...and to know we weren't crazy."
When asked about the sighting on the night of Oct.24, 2013 she had this to say;
"Yes, the night I sent you an email is the night I found your site. Yes, I was walking my dog in the dark and was blinded by a bright light that seemed to follow me and play games... I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It really frightened me to the point of attempting to hide from it behind the trees... I must have watched it for about 45 minutes or so. My husband was out of town and was disturbed because he had been calling and I was not answering... I ran in the house and Googled for any unusual sightings in Gadsden County... I found your site... My experience on the night I contacted your site."

"I was parked on side of road , I saw a bright light ahead of me, coming towards me. I thought it was a helicopter, but when it passed overhead it was a triangle with lights on each side (bright white lights). It made a sound like someone blow-drying their hair in another room. It moved very slowly...30 mph? I could have hit it with a steel BB and a good slingshot."
Pulsing red light - gadsden county, florida - early 1990's
This pulsing red light was observed in the early evening and proceeded to make a "U" turn over the field in front of the observer's house. No sound was heard..
light formation - midway, florida - Oct. 26, 1995
"On the morning of October 26, 1995 I was driving to work as I normally do from Gadsden County to Tallahassee on Hwy 90. The traffic was light and it was still dark with a clear sky. This was a few days before we were to set our clocks back to standard time. As I was driving along, I noticed off to my left up ahead a formation of lights just above tree top level, lights I have never noticed before while driving to work. I first noticed them from about a mile away, and as I got closer it looked like a formation of about twelve to fifteen circular, light amberish peach colored lights all representing a disc shape.There were 4 to 5 rows of these lights and they were steady. They were completely still, hovering and I could hear no sound coming from them. When I decided to turn around and go back to see them, they were gone. I have never seen lights like these before or since that morning along that stretch of road and I've been driving that route for years."
Triangle(?)/irregular shaped object - west tallahassee at i-10 - jan. 23, 1995
On January 13, 1995 at approximately 6:55 a.m., the witness while driving to work on I-10 reportedly sighted a large undefined shape, perhaps a triangle, with numerous white lights on it, some of them blinking, "fly over" the rest area at Exit 28 headed in a southerly direction. The sighting was preceded by a blue-white flash of light behind the rest area, and no sound was heard coming from the object.
"FLYING SUBMARINE" - LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK - WINTER 1988 - '89
This sighting first started as a steady white light slowly moving towards Long Island Sound and then after being lost from view for a few seconds, reappearing as a "flying submarine" that had burst into a multitude of colored lights "like a Christmas tree".
light formation(s) - ft. myers beach, florida - Sept. 17, 2013
The witness describes the sighting as follows; "We were watching a movie that finished at 9 p.m.. So we took the dog out, by the time we put the harness on him, it was about 9:03 - 9:05. We moved here two weeks ago. It's the darkest street I ever lived on. We went left on our street and walked no more than 50 feet. I always look up to see the stars, but since we moved in it has been cloudy most every day. that day it rained but started to clear up later in the day.
Looking up about center of our street toward the beach I noticed the group. I called my wife. She said the same thing I said, we never saw planes so close together flying at the same speed. The distance between them was always the same. I was so busy looking up at them, I didn't know my wife was still walking the dog down the street. So, she didn't see the 5 or 6 other lights that were following the group.

red globes - boynton beach, florida - oct. 12, 2013
"...I am a 54 year old male and live in Boynton Beach, Florida. I had a sighting tonight at approximately 9:15 p.m. that I cannot explain. I was outside with my dog and noticed a number of round red objects in the east. These red globes looked as though they were very high in the sky, coming from the horizon and travelling west. I estimate that there were about 15 of these red globes. They were moving at a slow pace, and as they came west, they seemed to gain altitude and they disappeared in the sky one by one. I did take a couple of videos with my iphone, but the objects are far away and very small in the videos. At one point, a local helicopter flies in front of my view which could help show the distance of these objects. I know that they were not fireworks or anything similar to that. I saw something very strange here one time about a year ago but never reported it, but I wanted to report this. ...I was a police officer for 18 years...I know that this sighting was not fireworks, bugs, normal aircraft or any other easily explainable object.

I was working on my land fixing the gate and had my phone handy...not the first time I have seen it, but the first time I photographed it.

The three photos below were taken by the witness, Lee, who would like anyone else in that area who may have seen them to share their information with him (the Florida UFO Network seeks more info also). Please contact the Florida UFO Network if you have information to share. What follows, in his own words, is Lee's account of the sighting. This report was received on the evening of February 29, 2016 at around 11: 30 p.m. The sighting took place about 8:30 p.m. on that same night.
"It was a few nights ago about 8:30 p.m. The sky was clear dark and with bright stars. My son and I were loading a trailer by the driveway. The next thing I saw was my son saying ' ... do you see that?' I turned and looked over my shoulder and coming over the road by my house were two extremely large aircraft/UFOs. Each one was the size of a 747 jumbo jet following one another in tandem only about 75 feet apart just clearing the tree tops going about 80 mph. They were in the shape of a triangle or boomerang. The UFOs were banking sharp right going Southeast and downward toward Lake Gentry. The 2 crafts were only approximately 150 feet above the ground. We thought they were going to crash into the lake because they went down below the tree line at an extreme angle. We saw or heard no explosion or crash, and yet we never saw the UFOs come back up!"
"Then a few minutes later two more crafts came and did the same exact thing! Same size and everything. WOW! The first four crafts each had very large bright red lights on the tip of each corner with a bright white light in the front. We both ran in the house and told my wife, and were going to Lake Gentry to see if they indeed did crash. I had my camera at this time and was getting into our car. Just at that point another craft, a UFO slightly smaller, came directly over my house going so slow that it enable me to get out of my car and turn my camera on. The photo you see is what I took. I was so stunned at the time I was having a hard time, fumbling during the process of turning my camera on quickly. It took me about 45 seconds to 1 minute at least for me to set up this picture. The fifth UFO had white lights only, three of them. Each bright white light was on a corner point. This craft was also in the shape of a triangle or boomerang. Again, it was banking sharply to the Southeast and going down into Lake Gentry never coming up! After all of the excitement we pulled out of our driveway and there were other people stopped by the side of the road totally stunned asking us if we saw what they saw, and of course, we said yes!"
"The craft was approximately 600 yards away when I finally took the picture. Please look at the reflections off of my cars and you can see how big the craft was. Also, the lights in the photo were not blurred by movement. You can see this by the cars as they were not blurry. If you look close you can see small lights in the white lights. They kind of look like little LEDs/little dots in the lights. The angle of the lights are the same angle the UFOs were banking at. The daytime photo shows how low the UFOs actually were. The cars were not moved in the exact same place as the night before. These crafts also were flying in a no fly zone, under the commercial flight entrance only 12 miles away from Orlando International Airport going the opposite direction of the airport's landing routes. Please enjoy the photos, and I would love to hear your replies."
Lee also said that he spoke with a Navy pilot of 25 years who told him that if the unknowns had a jet engine the glow/heat source would be seen in the photos, and as you can see, there is no glow/heat source visible. Additionally, he spoke with a photo specialist who indicated the reflections lend credibility to the sighting. Please note the difference in the reflections on the vehicles from the actual object...there seem to be dots in the reflection(s). He also emphatically states "...WAY WAY too BIG to be drones...747 size. The UFOs made a humming buzzing sound very quiet. Just about as quiet as a car running."

What follows are reports received at the network, but weren't fully investigated due to the location of the sighting, the reluctance of the witness to reveal more information, or other circumstances beyond control.
UFO AT WW KELLY AND TRAM ROAD
On June 13, 1995 at 10:15 p.m., a witness reportedly saw an oblong shaped object with white lights underneath, some blinking, at the intersection of WW Kelly and Tram Road. The witness noticed a slight hum and had the unknown in sight for about a minute. It was described as being about a half mile away and hovering. It was a clear sky and the witness said she noticed the moon off to the left. The witness also claims to have had two other sightings.
RACINE, WISCONSIN
Around 9:00 p.m. on October 6, 2009, three round objects described as red in color and moving against the wind were reported to the network. These unidentified objects were witnessed by 12 to 16 military personnel that pursued the objects and were reported to the Air Force and air traffic control. The witnesses said the objects did not appear on radar.
ALLEGHENY COUNTY - PENNSYLVANIA
A silver, disc-shaped object was reported and was in sight for approximately 2 minutes. There were two witnesses.

UFO SIGHTING - PALM BEACH - APRIL 27 2005
I recently moved to Florida and was looking to join a UFO group. I was a member of MUFON but I got discouraged and phased out. So I never did become an official field investigator as I would like to be. Anyway, I stumbled upon your name just now while looking for a place to report a sighting (and to see if there were anymore). My elderly dad saw something this morning at 4:30 a.m. while on duty as a security guard and was awestruck and scared all at the same time. He states he saw this disappear rapidly as it descended downward toward the ground (ocean?).
He managed to find a cop later on and asked if there were any other area reports and he said there weren't. But heck, if my dad is an indication of how they handle these reports, then it's safe to conclude no reports are ever taken... so none are on record. I tried to call over to PBI airport but couldn't get through to the radar tower (no surprise there). So how can one rule out things in my case? I'm hoping you can direct me at this point.
I have no doubt my dad saw something strange. He is not a believer as I am (I may also be an experiencer, although I am not 100% sure.) He also said he was scared at some point last night because he was unsure of this craft's abilities. So he knew it wasn't a conventional aircraft. The cop did say to dad that it might have been a helicopter doing some experiments (at 4:00 a.m. over a populated city) but my dad said it was much too big to be one, plus he remembers no sound. Also, this craft had "moving multi-colored lights" circling around it. He thinks they were red, blue and amber.
UBON, THAILAND - Circa 1967
This was reported to the network the morning of Dec. 15, 2015. The witness, apparently stationed with the 8th Battle Wing in Vietnam, reported that blips on the radar, appearing too fast to be helicopters, were heading towards the base in which planes were scrambled to investigate; the blips then stopped and disappeared. In a second incident. the witness said what appeared to be a wing of Russian bombers from North Vietnam heading towards the base vacated the area when, again, planes were scrambled to investigate. The witness indicated there were no Russian bombers stationed in the area at that time.
This witness also described another sighting he had in the Spring of 1979 near Beaumont, Texas when he was stopped at a gas station. This sighting involved a large flying wing with bright lights all being underneath the craft. It was silent and seemed to hover approximately 200-300 feet above the ground.

egg-shaped object - st. petersburg/clearwater area florida - september 2014
The witness describes his sighting as follows: "For many years, I have had an interest in UFOs whether they come from deep space, time travel or another dimension. So, naturally, my gaze is often skyward. Last September 2014 I noticed something I have been unable to identify. While in the side yard, looking skyward (East direction) I saw an object best described as an egg on its side, smaller end in front, traveling southward at an even, slow pace making no sound. No wings tail section or propulsion was seen. The egg, in addition, was also white, only a red stripe traveling somewhat below center from front to rear ending in a point.
Being in the flight path of the St. Petersburg-Clearwater Airport, over the previous twenty-eight years many forms of aircraft have been seen. Size and speed are difficult to determine due to not being in relation to any other object. YouTube and Google searches have been fruitless. Believe it to be a CIA or NSA drone. McDill AFB is directly across Tampa Bay. "
